I thank you for being so candid about Candida or yeast infections. I have been doing some surfing to find out about this nasty infection and one of the things I have found is that is does not only affect women but men as well.

I have also found that drugs, creams and typical treatments sometimes work only temporarily and partially but there is another solution to try.

I'm so glad I chanced upon this blog! Although I'm a year late in commenting I just have to say not only the Chinese get negative comments abt breastfeeding, Malays too! I am in my third trimester and plan to BF. My MIL said some very negative things when I told her I wanted to breastfeed exclusively. She said I'm not experienced abt motherhood so thats why I dont know that I wont have enough milk in the first week and will starve my baby to death! She's a university lecturer and yet she doesn't know abt colostrum. My own mother who had less formal education is very pro breastfeeding though, so lucky me. Although she doesn't really know much abt the benefits of breastfeeding she could understand the correlation between breastfeeding and less colicky babies and less nappy rashes! I am very tempted to tell my MIL that formula is from cow milk and meant for calves only who have four stomachs! We humans only have one stomach so therefore ours is not meant for formulas!

Check out Skyscape (www.skyscape.com) - they have hundreds of specialty based resources (doctors and nurses) - I have been using them for drug information for a number of years on the Palm - recently, I received a free CD at the ACC '08 meeting with a bunch of stuff - ACC Guidelines, clinical trials info, drug resources, essentials in cardiology, archimedes, Cochrane evidence based info, labs guide, CME STAT. I love it on my new windows mobile phone. From the website, they support palm, iPhone (my husband loves it), Blackberry, desktop and even Nokia phones.
