I have a disc man which I bought when I was pregnant with my first child. I thought of placing the headphone over my belly and have some prenatal session with him. Then, I was advised by my trainer in previous company not to do so as she said there was a baby born deaf by doing so. O.o
I’m not sure if it’s only a coincidence, but I decided not to take the risk and forget about placing the headphone over my belly and used the HiFi instead. Being a first time mother, I was not a risk taker!
So after being kept for so long in the cabinet, I’m not sure what am I going to do with the disc man. It’s all about iPod now and it’s easier to use it as well as I can easily store up the songs in it. But I haven’t got one, and I’m just thinking about it. Maybe new mothers can just get the iPod from Your Electronic Warehouse and get a better headphone by joining the iPod Earphone/Headphone Trade In Program because it will help you to save up some money. But to or not to use the headphone over your belly is another thing! I’m just skeptical about what I heard as well since so many prenatal materials are promoting babies in the womb to listen to the music with headphones! So, did you do it?
Anyway, just don’t play golf during pregnancy. I played a bit during the first trimester and I was scolded by MIL.
So, forget about getting anything related to golf from Discount Golf World first. Do it after the baby is out. Golf is great at losing weight.
