I’ve just come back from a short trip yesterday, but if possible, I would like to spend a few more vacations during the coming holiday. If I’m a kid, I would be very excited about the year end school holiday which lasts as long as 7 weeks. That’s the best time of the year since most kids are very occupied with school, tuition classes and extra activities. If they still go for holiday classes, that will be very stressful too. I prefer to let my kids enjoy themselves during the school holiday and if possible, we will go for vacation.

Most of the students I know are going to Disney Hong Kong during the coming school holiday. But it’s not as good as Disney World in Florida. If you can afford it, bring you kids to the one in US and at the same time you can bring them to other theme parks in Orlando as well. My boy is not having a holiday. He still has to go to school, so we don’t have any plans for the next 7 weeks.

Comparing to the life I had one year ago, I am less busier now. I have more free time for myself as well as spending time with them. I love the lifestyle I’m having now.

It’s getting easier studying at the comfort of our own homes as there are lots of online courses available. Happy Halloween to everyone who’s celebrating it tonight. We might have some treat a trick with the kids when hubby gets back from work, just to introduce this special day to them. There will not be a pumpkin or fancy costume as my kids don’t feel like putting them on. *roll eyes* Luckily I didn’t spend a fortune getting those costumes too!

But both hubby and I will not dress in scary costume as well. I don’t want to scare my kids. They are way too young to understand what is friction and what is real.

We only brought the kids to the aquarium once, and it was a year ago. I have been telling hubby that my boy keeps asking when are we going to the aquarium again, but he’s been very busy. Unless we follow him to KL and go to the aquarium by ourselves while hubby is at work, if not it’s not hard to make some arrangement with my workaholic hubby.

But nothing beats looking at the real marine life. I haven’t seen a whale before, and I know that my kids will be very excited about it too. Maybe we should go whale watching in Hawaii, when we are going there a few years from now. Besides, Maui, we might as well drop by Kauai. But What to Do in Kauai? Luckily we postpone the trip until a few years later. It will be more fun for the kids when they are older and more adventurous too.

When MIL broke her wrist 2 years ago, I was the only adult at home and my boy was only 5 weeks old. I could have driven her to the hospital immediately when my boy being placed in the car seat and my godson coming along in the car, but MIL refused to go to the hospital. I had no choice but to call hubby, SIL and BIL to persuade her to get admitted as from the look at her wrist, I knew it’s something serious. She’s been suffering from osteoporosis all these years, and a little fall might break her bones.

She doesn’t like the hospital as she is afraid of surgery and the equipments. I believe she’s not the only one who doesn’t see hospital as a friendly place since most of the hospitals are in white and the Medical Scrubs are just plainly boring. Sometimes, some colorful Nursing Scrubs will manage to brighten up the patients’ mood and ease their worries away, even if the effect is not too much. I would prefer to see the nurses dressing up in brighter colors of Katherine Heigl Scrubs too as these colors will lift up my mood.

Most of the patients are not happy at the hospital. Seeing dull colors might not cheer up them, don’t you agree?

I did some thinking today and I found some directions for this blog. Firstly, I won’t be a moo forever and I can’t be blogging about breastfeeding for long term. Thus, I will concentrate more on parenting, health, children development and maybe some home schooling tips as I go along. I used to teach little children, and I may have some insights to share. It’s just that I don’t like teaching, but my peers said I did a good job. LOL! Funny, my heart is not there but I can teach well.

Since Kontera mentioned that this blogs have lots of good keywords, I have to nurture it further and make sure that it’s well ranked as well. If only I have more money to be invested on this blog then I might get the help from website optimization firm because I need their help in focusing on those keywords that are strong in drawing to this blog. I know that I can use the analytic tools, but the results are quite random and it’s hard to see a pattern.
