hiccups

I’m having a lot of hiccups at work this week, and I shall put bento-ing aside since time is pretty limited and I’m out of ideas lately. Even my boy was surprised that he won’t be having any after school meal expect some bananas and packet yogurt drink. LOL! You should see his eyes, he wouldn’t believe me when I said it’s only banana today.

He enjoys using his pocket money at school but he’s always hungry after school. Both kids normally have their after school meals in the car or at the office, if I need ot get back to work after picking them up. Unlike previous years, I didn’t enroll them into after school activities everyday as the sessions end at 5pm for my boy, and it’s too late to me. Traffic is pretty bad after that hour, so they will only join 2 activities in a week.

So far, both kids enjoy their new school.

Once I’ve solved my work related issues, I will get back to kyaraben again. On top of that, if I manage to solve these  issues, I deserve to get myself something nice. Hey, getting myself a pair of nice  shoes or a nice dress as a reward sounds just fine to me after a lot of hard work at the office. Don’t women deserve some pampering once in awhile? :P

Just kidding! I dare not think about buying anything expensive now, it’s best to work out our business first.

Work in Peace

I’m so happy this week that my parents are here with us, and they are very helpful in taking care of the kids. For the first time in this summer break that all my office staffs can work in peace! That’s how much nuisance and noise my kids can make when they are very mischievous at my office. :P

How I wish I can work like this for the rest of their summer break but my parents are leaving this weekend. No amount of GoldFellow cash for gold can buy the peace I’m enjoying now!

So I better work better.

Back from Malaysia

This bento blog is still taking a very long break as the kids are still enjoying their holiday. In fact, the new school year only starts by end of May!!! Can you imagine that? LOL!

We have just come back from Malaysia last night, and it’s good to be home, despite the fact I got myself a bigger belly due to overeating. :P Oh well, I shall try my best to shed it off before it comes permanent.

Work is piling up again after the long break, but things should be able to go on track after a couple of days. I still haven’t found a new nest which fits our budget, so I’m going to be very busy house hunting next month. So sorry that you won’t be seeing much bento posts here for the time being. The blog is only updated about ranting stuffs or medicare supplement plans, at least until school starts again.

Stuffs

I wonder if we need to get one of those Bluray players? I hardly watch any DVD, only my kids watch it. If we are moving to a new place, maybe I will check out these players, and the new TVs too. But right now, it’s not necessary.

I hate to have too many stuffs in this house now. If I can squeeze some time during the weekend, I need to sort out the old stuffs and give away!

Smoking

I hate the smell of cigarettes and cigars, and I was even more sensitive when I was pregnant. As much as I try to stay away from people who smoke, some times, it’s hard to avoid it especially if you are eating out at some “ulu” coffee shop.

Once, when I was having breakfast at a coffee shop in Ipoh, during my first trimester, a man came sitting near my table and started smoking. I couldn’t take the smell and I went straight to the nearest drain by the shop and puked. Yes, it’s an ugly sight but I couldn’t hold the urge. Everyone was looking and hubby was puzzled with my choice of location for the releasing my tummy acid. LOL! I could have gone to the washroom but at that time, I just couldn’t think much.

So, forget about promoting romeo y julieta to me ya?

Gadgets

I’m an Apple fan, and my kids love their gadgets. I’m tempted to get iPad 2 once it’s launched in Asia, even if it’s unnecessary. That’s why I haven’t thought about blackberry playbook, even if there is a rave about it.

Anyway, I shouldn’t be thinking about getting any gadget, except maybe a laptop. Being frugal is one of my resolution of year 2011. :P

Singapore

Even if our trip to Singapore is not for leisure, but I really hope that I can at least try some nice food. Can anyone tell me where to find good Loh Mee? I remembered that I had once a very long time ago, and it was introduced by my ex landlord, which is a Singaporean. He brought us to a food court near some flats. Gosh, I can’t even remember the name of the place!

I think I will go for hawker food instead of fancy nice restaurant. I really miss hawker food! After this trip, I might have to get the best proven weight loss pills. With Chinese New Year around the corner, it won’t be nice to look fat!

Not Finish?

I thought that my car installment is almost over but SIL said I have another year to go. O.o Even if the car is being paid by the company and it has only a cheap auto insurance rate , but it would be great to pay it off earlier. Anyway, I will get the admin staff to check it out.

Gee…I thought I could change a car. LOL! Nah, better just forget about it.

No New Gadget

I don’t think I will spend much on getting any gadget this year, except for a new laptop. I definitely do not wish to lose my phone or my kids smash the iPad, so hopefully our existing gadgets will last us throughout the year. That’s why I don’t have any htc desire nor feel like checking out the latest Blackberry.

But if I have a chance, I might want to check out Vertu and see what’s the fuss about this expensive gadget!

Counting Down to Christmas

Even if Christmas is not a public holiday in Thailand, but it falls on Saturday this year. Yippie! I have 2 mini parties to attend, on the same day, but one in the afternoon at hubby’s office and another one at mine in the evening. So, it’s going to be a busy day for us.

I’ve just done my Christmas shopping yesterday. The kids have got their pressies, which they didn’t even want to be wrapped up and placed under the Christmas tree. O.o I didn’t get anything for hubby, who doesn’t believe in getting a pressie on special day. Good, save my bucks!

Most importantly, I’ve got the presents for the office party, and they are meant for the staffs. No barska scope but something more practical which they can use or … give away? :P

After that, we will have a short break away next week. I just love year end. :)
