Hubby and I have different views when it comes to house chores. I would prefer to hire a maid and let her do all the dirty jobs. But hubby doesn’t like to have a “stranger” living under the same roof. He said he would have lost his privacy. Frankly, I’m not sure what kind of privacy he’s referring to as we are only at home at night during working days, and some time during the weekends. He can just get door hanger printing stated “Don’t disturb” and hang it on the door for more privacy in the rooms. LOL!

With both of us getting busy lately, I am not sure if the house chores can be properly done. Thus, we came to the agreement of getting a part time cleaner twice a week. Too bad she doesn’t do the laundry and ironing!!!! But I got her to water my plants and rack the leaves. Gee…my garden is dying.

My kids arrived at school late today. They woke up early, but I didn’t. I got up at the same time with them so I didn’t pack them any bento. My boy did ask why there is no bento today, so I will go grab them some fresh fruits from the supermarket during my lunch break. Frankly, my fridge is kind of bare to come out with any bento!

All of us slept early last night. We were very exhausted. I’m so glad that I look fresh this morning, even the best eye creams won’t get me that kind of effect. We were late because we had just realized that our kids didn’t do their homework. O.o

So, the kids got to rush their homework before going to school. It’s our first working day at the office after CNY. Gosh, working is really piling up!

I love going to the beach, but I hate the after effect. It’s like months of whitening effort goes down the drain faster than you can save it. I apply tonnes on sunblock with SPF50 and PA+++ on myself, but still, I get darker after a few hours in the sun. Maybe I don’t reapply it more often.

Hubby is going away again this week, so I will be rather busy, work wise and at home. I’m not sure if I can sneak out some time for a nice facial and the laser treatment which I’ve longed to go for a year. Maybe I will check out skin id review or any beauty blogs for a good whitening range, and get the products first. No matter what, I still think laser treatment is the most effective one.

I’m back from the beach, and I’m so tanned now. I shall stay away from the beach for some time, and won’t think about another holiday soon!

We snapped a lot of photos, but I can’t post them up in Facebook yet. There are more than 600 photos! So, I need some time to select less than 200. LOL!

Anyway, I don’t look great in the photos, maybe it’s due to the messy hair, and too much sun. Having permed hair may add volume, and to me, it’s one of the other solution to post natal hair lose, other than one of the best hair loss treatments available in the market. I permed my hair a few months after having both babies just to make my hair looked better. But having permed hair on the beach doesn’t seem too great. It gets tangled and messed up all time. LOL!

I’m using Flickr Pro account for most of my photos, but I noticed that the uploader is getting slower, especially after I upgraded it to the latest version. Previously, it would take less than 5 minutes to upload 2 photos, but now, it’s like taking forever! I wonder if it has something to do with my internet connection? Or is it the uploader?

I’ve done most of my daily planning, read my emails, kaypoh at Facebook, clear some of my job tasks and check out some mesothelioma treatments online but the photos are still uploading. Ahh…..

It’s so slooooowwwww….

Sorry that I don’t have much bento to share lately because I’ve been pretty tied up. Firstly, my grandpa passed away (I didn’t go back but moaning here). I’m sad but relief that he’s no longer suffering from his cancer since he couldn’t take anymore Medicare supplement except morphine. He was too old to go through another surgery, and he was in pain for many months. But he was in great care by our family, and I’m glad that we managed to spend some time with him when we were back for the holiday previously.

Then, my gal got sick. Hubby is so busy lately so I lost my helper, and it’s quite tiring taking care of a feverish kid and “running errands” like supermom. Not to mention, all my blogs got hacked but I couldn’t do much about it. I “dumped” the job to my webmaster, and luckily, he’s a helpful person! LOL!

On top of that, yesterday was my boy’s birthday but we only had a mini party for him at school and a small celebration among ourselves. I still owe him a ranger bento because mommy couldn’t squeeze out some time to fix one for him. Sorry ya boy!

Did I mention that I’ve only started my Christmas shopping yesterday? And I haven’t wrapped the presents. O.o

I’m still catching my breathe now, and hopefully, I will have more time for bento next week ya?

 I thought I will be flying back next week but my mom reminded we will still be here for another 2 weeks! Gosh, I got my dates all wrong. LOL!

Nonetheless, I’m glad that Bento Craft was trying to ship out my orders yesterday, but I missed the parcel this morning. I was at home but I missed it! Unbelievable. So I guess I will get my stuffs next week.

In the mean time, I have already packed most of our stuffs, and we are going back with 3 luggage bags. Hubby is coming over just before we leave so that he can help me with the loads and our kids. Due to boredom during their long holiday, both my kids are very “naughty” and cheeky, and everyone is worried about how am I going to cope with them on our flight home. Maybe I should reward them a nice silver necklace each if they behave well. LOL! My boy has been asking for one, and it will be another extra for my gal.

I think one month holiday here is too long for all of us.

 You may have noticed that I hardly update this blog or fix any bentos lately. Partly it’s because I was pretty busy for the past few weeks, but the main reason is I’m getting lazy as my kids’ long term break is approaching. This week is their exam week, and after that I will fly home with my kids, and leaving their daddy behind. LOL! He has to work, so he  can’t take a long holiday back home with us.

Thus, I will start packing and cleaning some part of the house to ensure that it stays clean for as long as possible during our absent. I’m not sure if hubby will even sweep the floor for weeks when we are away! Furthermore, I know he’s too lazy to operate the vacuum cleaner nor the Ladybug steam cleaner.

Frankly, I can’t wait for the break as I’m eager to be home and feast on all my favorite food. Since I won’t be bring any tools back, I don’t think I can fix any bentos either. But since one of my friends is asking for her kids, I shall see what can I do…:P

 I haven’t fixed any bento this week and my kids started making noise already. Hubby is super busy this week, so I bring the kids home after school. They don’t need any bento because they are not staying back at office with us as usual. But last night, my gal gave me the “hoh lian” look, asking me “where is my bento?”

Furthermore, we had a great weekend by the beach last week, but I’m still pretty tired after the trip. So, to avoid myself from getting an outbreak and go for acne treatment *ahem!*, I try my best to get as much sleep as possible. LOL!

Anyway, I shall try my best to fix her something nice this week. Gee… This mommy is still hoping to enjoy her break as much as possible.

I really enjoy blogging. Not only that I have a chance to keep an online journal for my life and passion, I made a few good blogger friends over the years too. Some of us share our daily ups and downs in our blogs and through our private chats, and it’s always nice to get some sincere comments in our blogs. A few of my friends have been suggesting that I should publish a Bento book, but honestly, I’m not ready for one.

Writing a book is totally different from blogging, and most importantly, I have no idea how to write one either. Should I draft out a copy first before looking for a publisher? Do I need a massachusetts oui lawyer to go through the details with the publishers? And what should I write?

In short, I’m still clueless about the whole idea, and I don’t think I have a lot of new ideas in mind for a book. All my “creations” have already been shown in this blog, so I can’t see the point of coming out with a book with similar ideas, when anyone can just read the blog.

So, thanks for your suggestions. I truly appreciate that.

Nonetheless, I’m still very new in this, and I’m not ready!
