In progress
Honestly, I’m getting tired of telling people that my condo is not completely ready, even if we’ve moved in for almost 2 months. The renovation stopped since Chinese New Year, and I can hardly get a glimpse of the renovation workers. Besides not being able to cook at the kitchen, we have got used to the place.
As much as I loathe at the progress, I must say that the interior designer is good at picking the wall colors. The wall lights make the place look warm and cosy, and it feels good to be home every evening. The only thing that puzzles me was his choice of outdoor wall sconces which was installed at our hallway. Initially, I thought they are weird. But now, I’ve got used to it, and they are quite unique to be placed indoor.
Most importantly, I like the modern chandelier he chose for our dining area. It’s not big, but it’s nice. I would pick a bigger one but it might end up getting too close to our table. LOL! Our ceiling is not that tall actually.
I’m aware that they have a couple of projects on hand at the same time especially after the flood. As much as I’m very angry with them not completing my condo in time as promised, but my sinus healed during their absent. It’s not easy living with the mess and dust!
Hopefully, they will return to my place and get the rest of the renovation done soon. After that, I will change my lock and start inviting friends over!
