Mothering Corner

This article caught my attention as I was really close to my dad, even if we hardly talk sometimes. At the same time, I’m asking hubby to spend more time with our girl, as most of the time, our boy is occupying daddy only. If I let this condition continues, I’m afraid that my girl will not be as close as her dad, as comparing to her brother. Besides, I would like her to have some boyish playtime too with daddy.

The way a father treats his daughters will strongly influence the girls characters. I have friends who are so incompetence and dependent because they were over protected by their dads when they were little. Well, you know, some fathers can be very worried about their daughters’ safety or doubt their abilities to take care of themselves. My dad was the worrying type, but he has never doubt my independence.

Maybe I had always been the rebellious type, but not the naughty one. My dad wanted me to study medicine, but I chose something else. He wanted me to spend more time at home, but I prefer to be marching under the sun or camping out with friends. See, “kek sei” my dad. LOL! But I know he is proud of him, and he loves me a lot. Even if I may not turn out to be a doctor, a lawyer, a real estate agent which tonnes of money, he still loves me.

Just wish him, Happy Father’s Day, dad! And Happy Father’s Day, dear.

I’ve just got this domain today, and I’m not hosting it with WP as I’m not good at it at all. I was having lots of problems with Shopping Mum and Kids using WP, and I’m not gonna go through that process again.

I like blogspot as it’s easier to use, and so much easier to customize the templates. So, I’ll be busy working on this blog for a few days!
