New Year Resolutions

I’m not one of those who set up yearly resolutions but I know what I want in my life. Some may not be able to be achieve in a year, but so far so good, I’ve got attained some of the goals I wish for in my life. Nonetheless, there are more to go!

Since I’m not one of those who’s born with a silver spoon in my mouth, and furthermore I’m not married to one which a silver spoon neither *slap head*, we have to work our ways to ensure a better living and for our kids’ future. Maybe they won’t be provided with “silver Tiffany utensils” either, but we will try our best as parents.

Mmm…maybe I do have a resolution. Work harder on my biz!

I’m Back…

Yeap, I’m back from Chiangmai and got back to work with a blur brain, exhausted body and 2 kg extra somewhere in my thighs or tummy. Still no bento for today because I was too tired to fix anything fancy. My kids went to school with fruits bentos, which was everything I had left in the fridge. Gosh, I should be coming back feeling rejuvenated instead of someone who’s experiencing extenze side effects. It must be the crazy “party” we had on the last night in Chiangmai. Let’s just say that BIL has something in his iPhone that he “threatens” to upload to Facebook, and I swear that I will k*** him if he does.

Anyway, that was the crazy side of me, which has long time “dead” especially since I got married and became a mother. But then again, we had a great time with the kids and colleagues in Chiangmai. Hope to do this again next year.

Printing

I prefer to print out most work related document for my own filing and reference, instead of looking over the soft copies of all the folders in my laptop. Call me old fashioned and not environmentally friendly, but without these papers, I will be wasting time checking through the files.

Nonetheless, I try my best to print only in black and white, even if some product files will look better with colors. The admin clerk hardly replaces the color cartridge, even if she can just order one from inkcartridges.org. Some times, the colors don’t come out exactly as they should! LOL!

That’s why my sales personnel prefer to use the laser in another sales office room. The printing quality defers a lot!

Dream House

I found my dream house but we can’t afford it! It’s located at the area which I really like, and it’s very spacious. If I would to get my parents to move over here in the future, I surely need to find a bigger house. The only problem is the pricing, it’s soooo expensive, I would have to write millions of tonalin cla review to afford the down payment. LOL!

Actually, houses in Bangkok are not cheap. We might be able to afford condominium but I prefer a landed property, even if it can’t be bought under a foreigner’s name.

Lazy

It’s sad that my metabolism gets slower as I age. I lost some weight when I was sick, and I easily gain all back in a few days. OMG…I will surely need hgh supplements one day unless I watch my diet and EXERCISE. That’s something I never do since I moved to Bangkok. :P

Thank god I didn’t join any gym membership, if not it will be a total waste paying for the monthly fee. :P

House Hunting

After 2 and a half year in Bangkok, we finally thought of getting our house here. It will be hard, since it’s under company’s name and I’m not sure how long will it take for all the documents and loan to be approved, but we shall start house hunting. Maybe we won’t get it so soon, and the process of getting one might take years. :P

Anyway, it’s fun checking out show houses. The houses are so tastefully decorated, I don’t think I can do this on my own. Definitely can’t have more space and I might end up with tv mounts if I am doing the interior design! Nonetheless, getting an interior designer can be very costly, so I won’t consider about this yet.

Let us look around and see if we can find a house which fits our budget, and located in the area of our choice first.

Feeling Better

I’m feeling much better now, and thanks for your kind comments. :)

As much as I wanted to rest and skip work when I was sick, but I could not afford to do it. There is a lot of things to be done at work, and I still have to take care of the kids. Nonetheless, I have slowly recovered, and I’m almost back to my good old self!

I have to stay fit again because there are a lot of celebrations in the coming weeks such as birthdays, anniversaries, Loy Khatong, Christmas, and etc. I wish that I have the time for a year end vacation to celebrate all these joyous occasions, but hubby can’t take leave until next April!

Nonetheless, we managed to plan a trip to Chiangmai again, and the kids are excited about it. There is something about this place that my kids love a lot, maybe it’s the zoo, night safari, nice boutique hotels and etc. As much as I would love to purchase flights to cut short on traveling time, but we are going there in vans, with all our company staffs. Yes, it’s a company trip!

So, mommy has to stay fit and healthy, and so do the buds!

Christmas Soon

Christmas is coming soon but too bad we don’t have any special plan again this year. Hubby can’t take any day off by end of the year, so we are stuck in Bangkok for Christmas. For the past 2 years, we went to Central World to snap photos of the nice Christmas decoration, but I’m not sure if they are still there this year after the burnt down. Things are not the same even if the mall has reopened.

Oh well, but I will still get the kids some Christmas presents, and pretended that Santa Clause drops by. My boy doesn’t believe in Santa anymore, but I still hope that my gal won’t grow up so soon. Check out these christmas present ideas for boyfriends if you are looking for one. As for hubby, I guess I know what should I get for him. :)

Is “Winter” Here?

It’s been 3 days when the weather suddenly changed from rainy to cool and windy. We are enjoying the cool breeze now, and hopefully, it will last longer this year. “Winter” only lasted one day in Thailand last year, so I was rather disappointed!

Our relatives are heading to Chiangmai tomorrow, so they will probably be enjoying cooler weather up north. We were quiet unlucky on our trip to Chiangmai 2 years ago. The weather suddenly changed to humid hot the first day we arrived in Chiangmai! So, I have never experienced winter in northern Thailand before. That’s why I plan to make another trip there one day, hopefully I don’t have to wait too long for one.

Chiangmai is nice place to visit, even if it’s not a city for shopping or adventures and you can also forget about getting Polaris Sportsman ATV Parts here, but it is rich in culture and arts. I simply love it.

Dream House

After 2 years in Bangkok, I would say that it feels like home to us, instead of a place to live for a short period of time. Unlike other expats, whom might have work contract with a time frame here, we have our own business, so I do hope that it will grow well over time.

Thus, I hope that we can get our one house here, even if it might be hard for expats to get a landed property. Expats can buy condos in Thailand, but not landed property, and certainly not the land. We can only do so under our company name but it’s too early for this stage yet.

However, I have visited a few gated community, and I like what I have seen. It’s a bit hard for me to search online about the houses in Bangkok as most of them are listed in Thai, and I can’t read Thai. But if you happened to be looking for Wilmington NC homes, get Wilmington NC real estate to help you out. I haven’t tried any real estate agent, and I prefer to do this on my own so that I can save up on commission. But then again, some professionals like Wilmington NC real estate will make a house hunting easier for most.

It’s still too early for us to get a house, so I’m taking my sweet time looking around, and short list a few area. Frankly, if I’m a multi millionaire, I could easily get my dream house but my company status is not ready for that either! So, let’s make more money first.
