I’m taking a break from Christmas bento this week, even if my heart is all screaming about Christmas. LOL! Thus, I prepared Doraemon and Dorami for my kids today, as requested by my boy. I mixed some blue food gel to egg white mixture to fix the blue egg sheet, and Dorami’s yellow was just plain egg yolk. I didn’t use exacto knife but just some cutters to fix the characters. That really speed things up.

I guess I won’t be packing much kyaraben this week. We are going to have a long weekend again, so we are leaving for Chiangmai on Thursday night. The kids are very excited to return to Chiangmai, and they are going to have their first camping experience this time around. Hopefully, the weather is getting cooler and nicer up north!

Mommy is going to shop till for the handmade products again. I just love the costume jewelry made by the northern tree tribes.You must come to Chiangmai one day, if you are visiting Thailand.

Firstly, I can’t remember to snap the Doraemon cutter mold and puncher set, which I can’t even remember which store I bought it from.

Anyway, I guess you know which set I’m referring to, and I used the set for today’s bento. I prepared the egg sheets yesterday, by separating the yolk from the white. I mixed some blue food gel to the egg white before frying it. As for the yolk, I didn’t add any color into it. I needed a piece of yellow egg sheet for Dorami and some tiny details.

The cutting part is not hard as I used the cutter and mold to cut the details and sandwiches. You can give it a try. That might save you some time in tracing and cutting with exacto knife. Of course, the puncher is a great help too, it saves me a lot of time in cutting straight nori lines!

The sandwiches are topped on 2 pieces of corns. I packed some fruits in the bento too.
