The thing about bento-ing is, you don’t just pack food for your kids and loved ones. You might eventually caught the bug of collecting a lot of bento tools which you see online, or being used by some bentoers. As much as I’ve agreed that you don’t need a lot of tools, if you have the skill *ahem*, but some bento boxes, tools and food picks are too cute to be missed!

For those who are staying in Singapore, maybe  most of you are familiar with Jmama’s store. I purchased from her once, and she gives very good service. If it’s not due to the shipping fee to Bangkok, I won’t mind buying more from J-Mama & Baby.

It’s nice to see that she listed the products which are made in Japan. As you know, some mothers are worried about BPA free products or the quality of bento products made in China. It makes shopping at her various stores a bliss.

I love my shoe punchers and I use them a lot in bento-ing. They are slightly more expensive than Carl’s punchers, but they never fail me.

I stumbled upon some nice shoe punchers which are pretty good in bento-ing. If you are not so keen with cutting nori with exacto knife, or can’t find the right nori shape from your puncher collection, you might want to check them out.

I can’t read Japanese and I don’t trust my translator because the text doesn’t make sense after translation. So, if you are interested, do check out these Disney products and see if international shipping is available.

It will cost me a bomb if I get all these punchers, and I already have most of these Disney cutters. So, I better go wash my face to cool my shopping itch, and warm my face up with the hand dryers. I can’t be seriously buying all these sets now. LOL!

Remember my bento corner, where I place most of my tools? Some of you have been asking me where I got my bento tools from, so here’s a summary of the suppliers:

•  Daiso: It’s a nice place to get some tools for a start, and the price is reasonable.
• 100Yen: I can’t find 100Yen in Bangkok, but a lot of bento bloggers will drop by 100Yen outlets to grab the tools.
• Bento Market: My favorite online store for bento tools! I know most of the items are out of stocks, and that’s because they are selling like hot cakes! So, make sure you sign up as member and be notified about the latest arrivals.
• NST: I shopped here too, but not a lot.

As for seaweed punchers, I have always prefered the shoe punchers (check Bento Market) and those from Carl’s.
