We have started out No TV days for 4 schooling days last week, and the kids are getting used to it. They manage to have more time for playing the toys, piano or doing some craft on their own. Actually, they don’t spend a lot of time at home as we come bad quite late. Besides that, they might have their Thai tutoring some days, and further reduce the time they spend at home.
That’s why we decided not to turn on the TV on those days so that they can have more time to play. It’s nice playing simple board games with them, and the boy plays more piano too. 
We might be one of those few families with only one TV at home. We don’t need to install another tv stands with mount and get another TV in my room because I don’t watch TV.
