Snoopy and Woodstock Quail Eggs Bento
It’s been awhile since I last packed quail eggs, so I decided to pack some for my kids today. I decorated the quail eggs as Snoopy and Woodstock respectively, and it’s quite easy to be done. For Woodstock, I soaked the eggs in yellow food gel (diluted with water) for 10 – 20 minutes. I guess I didn’t use enough color so the yellow is not as intense as expected.

I prepared 4 quail eggs

For Snoopy, I gently cut a small piece of egg white for its ears.

Pin the ears on the quail eggs.

Punch some nori as Snoopy’s eyes and lips.
For Woodstock, I just punched the nori and added the details. That’s why it doesn’t look like the real Woodstock.
Anyway, here are the bentos:
My boy’s Snoopy and pale Woodstock. There are garlic toasts, kiwi, baby carrots, cherries and rambutans in the bentos too.

Very cute! I love the way snoopy turned out.
