Red in Bangkok
I know that the news about Bangkok is very worrying. My parents called last night, when we were out for dinner with friends, and they were pretty surprised that we still go out! Actually, it’s not that bad, for most areas in Bangkok. The hot spots are all listed, and it’s best to stay away from these places until you are Red protesters or asking for trouble. But then again, the Reds will just wave to you if they are passing by, as if they are going for some parades. 
Politics in Thailand can be pretty ugly, not all protesters know what they are doing. Don’t be surprised if someone is trying to pay you to put some some color tees and be at certain location at specified date.
Frankly, I would rather spend my time on accredited online degrees, or watching TV, or just shopping away than getting involved. Pooling and pour blood in town is not for me.
