Hello Kitty Frying Pan
My SIL got a Hello Kitty pan from Penang, and she is having a hard time using it. I think it looks something like this:

She asked if there is a way of using this pan, and make a nice piece of fried egg sheet. Seriously, I can’t help much as I don’t have any fancy shaped frying pans. Remember that my kids rejected fried eggs and it’s only until recently that they love it?
On top of that, my kids don’t take pancakes, so I don’t think I need a pan like that. I tried preparing pancakes for them, and I ended up eating ALL because they didn’t want to try!!! I had almost needed the best hgh releaser to burn off the extra calories after eating so many pieces of pancake with honey syrup!
Another reason is, I doubt my skill in flipping it over to the other side and I wonder if the shape will come out exactly the same.
Thus, if you have any tips in using fancy pans like this, please share in comment section. Thanks!!!

Hi, I’m not sure if this is what yr sil got as I’m staying in PG and I got mine in PG. So far I’ve only tried it once. Have not tried pancake yet but hopefully I could do so soon. I know my “work” may no be in great help as you can see all the features are done “manually”. But at least I think it could give you a rough idea how a fried egg will look like using this pan. hehe

Amy, I have this pan at home. Tried it at home for fried egg and pancake before but turned out not so nice. I got the shapes but no Hello Kitty details. And because the pan is so small, I have to use the smallest burner on my stove otherwise for pancake will ends up sticking badly. Have the Doraemon and other shapes also

Yeapies, thanks for sharing! I guess we still have to add in the details to make it looks more like Hello Kitty. BTW, love your blog.
Lia Chen, ya, it should be quite hard to flip, that’s why I never thought of getting one. Thanks for sharing. My SIL will be glad to know that she’s not alone in this, she thot it’s her skill. LOL!
