Bento#142: Miffy Bento
I didn’t plan to do any bento this morning. But I was waken up at 5.3oam by the alarm clock!!! My hubby is very excited about us not having a housekeeper at home anymore, and he’s very keen to show me that he can help out at home. He said he will sweep and mop the floor in the morning, and get up as early as 5.30am to start cleaning up. But what do you know, my man here couldn’t get up when the clock rang and I was WIDE AWAKE. I didn’t want my neighbors to complain about our stupid alarm clock so early in the morning, so I had to get up and turn it off. LOL! Of course, I woke hubby up and asked him if he’s serious about his new “commitment”. 
Anyway, since I got up early, I fixed my kids a speedy bento each for them to bring to their art class. I bought this miffy cutter from Bento Market for some time, but I haven’t used it before. I decided to give it a try today. I really want to use all my wholesale lots of bento tools. LOL!
Miffy cutter (there are 2 cutters in a set).
Here’s how I cut the dress for Miffy. Just cut out the shape, and gently cut off the excess part with a knife or the imprinted top of the cutter.
It didn’t take me long to prepare two Miffy bentos as Miffy does not have a lot of details.
My boy’s bento with Miffy peanut butter sandwiches, some rose apples, grapes and mini wieners.
Here’s my gal’s bento, excluding the grapes because she complained that they are sour. O.o

Amy, what does kamaboko looks like actually? The one that I saw somewhere is like a white round fish cake with pink swirls on it. How do you cut it to be a pink flower? Where can I get them in Malaysia? Thanks.
Arlene, ya, he must be joking with me! I’m the one got up early. LOL!
Khongfamily, yaya, that’s the one. I slice the top pink part out and use for flowers or ribbons. For the white part, just use for cooking or cloud and other white details. In Malaysia, I’m not sure. Have you tried the cold storage section which sells Japanese food?
I like Miffy but Darrius is still very ignorant about this character yet.
Your bento for today looks simple so guess it must be very easy for you!

Amy, what is the ‘yellow shirt’ that miffy is wearing in your girl’s bento? And what about the eyes? Is that seaweed too coz it looks so ‘black’! I love your miffy bento
