Bento#30
I’ve been coughing badly since yesterday. So, this morning I woke up with my head spinning! I tried to make things simple with the kids’ bentos, and I just cut the fruits in various shape cutters and steamed some corn cobs and edamame.

I prepared the nori (seaweed) and cheese a night before, so it’s pretty easy to get the bentos ready in less than 30 minutes. My gal saw the cute flowery cheese and decided to bring her bento to school. My boy wanted to save it until after school (about 4.30pm), so I will keep his bento in the fridge at the office first. I would normally keep their bentos refrigerated if I’m packing fruits.
As for the leftovers of bread and fruits, I baked them in the oven when I was preparing myself a roasted drumstick. It’s another leftover from dinner a few days back.

I’ve forgotten to put some butter or oil on the baking cup, so I had to dig them out with a spoon. It’s yucky, I know. LOL!

hey, i didn’t know u kept all yr bentos creations here leh….. why u didn’t put a link from yr other blog? wuah…..to manage so many blogs must be tough!
anyway, i noticed you are getting very near to the japanese style bento already, nice art….i find those jap bento a bit too much/heavy for my boys who only need a snack for their 3+ hours schooling….. but their creations r tremendously beautiful, how to eat??
Jacss, ya, I have a few blogs, so all cater for different niches but I don’t update all of them all the time. LOL! Just for the fun of blogging.
I have been reading some Japanese blogs which I Googled for and they are really really cute. My kids like it, so I try my best to do something cute for them, if time permits. My kids have their bentos after school, about 4.30pm, at the office while waiting for us to finish our work, so if we go back late, at least they have something to feel their tummies.
But to go all the way to charaben, I still have so much to learn!
