Bento#4
It’s a busy Sunday for me. We had some praying ritual at the office which started as early as 8am, so I had to get up at 5am to prepare breakfast and bento. However, I wasn’t tired. I made up my mind on what to prepare the night before, so it’s pretty simple to get things done.
I bought some mini sausages a day before, and decided to put them into good use. LOL! It’s so simple to pan dried the sausages while roasting the buffalo wings in the oven. Since my kids were still sleeping and no one was disturbing me, I decided to do something fancy with the sausages. I found the way of cutting the sausages into tulip shape from a book. I used celery stick as the stem and a thicker slide of cucumber as the base. So simple!

However, I had to cut the stem shorter to fit them into the lunch boxes.

Of course, I prepared fruits and breakfast too…

Sweet bun and cheese for a quick bite in the car and some Zespri Gold Kiwi
My kids took breakfast in the car as we were in a hurry to reach the office by 7.30am. Gosh, it’s a stressful morning to all of us! Besides that, the serving portion is too big for my children, so they couldn’t finish the bentos as expected. Thus, I will have to reduce the serving portion next time to better fit their appetite.

[…] I’m still getting used to the culture in Thailand, but so far, I think Thai people pray a lot. SIL organized a praying ritual yesterday, and it’s something the office staffs do on annual basis. We had to be there as early as 7.30am, so the poor mommy had to get up at 5am to prepare the bentos. […]
