Spare the Rod?
Days ago, I did a tag about whether I would cane my kids. I try not to smack their hands even if I’m so mad about them as I feel that it’s only my way of releasing the anger, but not disciplining my kids. But if there is a need, hubby will smack their hands or buttocks. He’s very lenient and he likes spoiling the kids. But sometimes, he can be very strict to them if necessary. On the other hand, I will just scold if they are really naughty. I prefer to teach them with a different and diplomatic approach.
In short, if you think your kids will be more discipline if you use the rod, I respect your decision. I’m not sure how long can I spare the rod, but for the time being, I will leave the rod alone.
