Dealing With An Active Toddler
My gal is quite active, but not hyper active. She’s a normal little toddler who’s adventurous and likes to put her hands on anything that she finds interesting. She has a tendency of hurting her self because she doesn’t afraid to climb up high onto the bar stools, tables, trying to slide up the staircase and etc. Watching her is what I do the most everyday and I only get to rest and blog when she’s sleeping or playing with her cousin sister. She introduces a lot of girlie games to my girl, and she likes it.
She had just hurt herself again today. I think when it comes to dealing with an active kid, we just have to be more patient and watchful. Besides that, we can’t be over protective as well as most kids need to have a channel to release their energy. That’s why I let my kids play a lot outside, without shoes on, getting dirty, or just running like kampung kids. I feel that after their evening session, they can be easily calmed down and tugged into bed.
Maybe she still doesn’t understand how dangerous some places or things are. I just have to give her more time on this.
