I haven’t seen a kid who doesn’t like candy, if there is, please let me know! Both my kids love candy a lot, and we do give them as snacks once in a while. No point being to strict to kids as they will be easily tempted anyway when they go to school. Thus, it will be practical for us to get vintage bulk candy in large quantity as we will be paying less for more candies. As I’m typing this post, my kids are having their lollipops. Gee…I better make sure that they brush their teeth well later.

Happy Halloween to everyone who’s celebrating it tonight. We might have some treat a trick with the kids when hubby gets back from work, just to introduce this special day to them. There will not be a pumpkin or fancy costume as my kids don’t feel like putting them on. *roll eyes* Luckily I didn’t spend a fortune getting those costumes too!

But both hubby and I will not dress in scary costume as well. I don’t want to scare my kids. They are way too young to understand what is friction and what is real.

Actually, I was not familiar with Asperger syndrome as most of the time I only heard about autism. If you are not familiar with it too, here’s the definition.

 Asperger syndrome (AS) is a neurobiological disorder that is part of a group of diagnoses called “autistic spectrum disorders.” The term “autistic spectrum” refers to a range of developmental disabilities that includes autism as well as other disorders with similar characteristics.

The disorder is named after Hans Asperger, a Viennese pediatrician who, in 1940, first described a set of behavior patterns apparent in some of his patients, mostly males. Asperger noticed that although these boys had normal intelligence and language development, they had severely impaired social skills, were unable to communicate effectively with others, and had poor coordination.

In other words, most of the kids are fine. However, tt would be advisable to get your child diagnosed with you suspect that there is something wrong. Take a look at the symptoms listed below:

• inappropriate or minimal social interactions
• conversations almost always revolving around self rather than others
• “scripted,” “robotic,” or repetitive speech
• lack of “common sense”
• problems with reading, math, or writing skills
• obsession with complex topics such as patterns or music
• average to above-average verbal cognitive abilities
• average to below-average nonverbal cognitive abilities
• awkward movements
• odd behaviors or mannerisms

The main reason why I still prefer to stay with my in-laws is hubby is away most of the time. Thus, I don’t feel good staying alone with the kids and a maid. God knows what will my other maids be? I might be changing maids every 2 years!

Thus, I will only do so when my kids are older enough and hubby has slowed down on his traveling. At this stage of our lives, he is busy making money to secure our future, and traveling comes with the package of his work. But if everything goes well, we will have our dream house in 10 years, and I hope to get one which doesn’t only come with a big garden, it has a nice house plan too.

I grew up by the sea before I started schooling, so I have always dreamed of getting a house by the beach so that my kids will have the growing up experience like I did. However, there is no sea here in Ipoh and the nearest sea is one hour away! Besides, it’s not one of those nice beaches where you like to set your foot on.

Thus, when we are going to Hawaii next time, I would like to rent a Hawaii beach house which is situated on the nicest beach. I will check out Hawaii Travel Blog and Kauai Travel Info to look for that dream rental home so that all of us can have some days off relaxing by the beach.

If you have grown up by the sea, maybe you will agree with me that running on the beach and collecting seashells is really part of our lives as kids. I really miss those days.

We only brought the kids to the aquarium once, and it was a year ago. I have been telling hubby that my boy keeps asking when are we going to the aquarium again, but he’s been very busy. Unless we follow him to KL and go to the aquarium by ourselves while hubby is at work, if not it’s not hard to make some arrangement with my workaholic hubby.

But nothing beats looking at the real marine life. I haven’t seen a whale before, and I know that my kids will be very excited about it too. Maybe we should go whale watching in Hawaii, when we are going there a few years from now. Besides, Maui, we might as well drop by Kauai. But What to Do in Kauai? Luckily we postpone the trip until a few years later. It will be more fun for the kids when they are older and more adventurous too.

My kids have been to the beach a few times, but they hardly enjoyed on the beach. I don’t know why they don’t like to set their feet on the sand. The only time when they were having fun was the time we went to Pulau Pangkor when my gal was 4 months old and my boy was 20 months old. We went there with other children, so he had a good time building sand castle with them.

But maybe they are older now, and they like the Barney clip about going to the beach, so they are asking me to go picnic by the sea. I’m still working on this because hubby is busy. But if they are patient enough, we will go to Hawaii in 2 years. LOL! I don’t know if 2 years may sound too far away for them, but I’m eager for a trip to Hawaii too. What we are lack of now is money and time! But it should be possible by then. We can still go to the local beach if the kids are persistent about this.

I just can’t believe my eyes this morning when I checked on this blog. There were more than 10 spams left as comments and the first thing I did was delete all of them! This blog tends to have a lot of spams maybe due to its keywords. It’s just annoying seeing them first thing in the morning.

Besides, I have been moody for the past few days and only slowly got over the PR issue, seeing spams like that only brought up my temperature. I really need a break. Like most bloggers who are sick of the current condition, we all need a break! If only hubby is willing to spare me some money, I will bring forward my holiday to Hawaiian Vacation Kailua which we plan to carry out 2 years from now.

After reading the Kauai Travel Blog, I’m even more tempted to have a break because I know that I deserve it. So anyone else going to get the Kauai Vacation Rentals and go for holiday like me? It’s big time blog break from now onwards.

I’m always excited about the year end sales as I prefer to get my kids clothes earlier as preparing for Chinese New Year. But I will get them in larger sizes just in case they are going through a growth spurt. Most of the stores have already sent their SMS to me telling me about their sales. Maybe I’m one of the customers in their list so I get the information about the sales. Nowadays, getting the list of potential customer is crucial in making more business. But the thing about me is I will buy again when it’s near to Chinese New Year. How to resist those nice kid clothes on sales?

Many months ago, I won’t be writing about this topic as I don’t need formula milk. LOL! But now, both my kids are taking formula milk. I don’t have any brand in particular as I will just get anything as long as it’s in chocolate favor. My gal only takes chocolate milk because she hates the taste of normal milk. Blame it one her mother’s milk which was so good and highly nutritious! LOL!
