Eating Disorder
When I was studying at school, I was too busy with activities and I didn’t care much about how I looked. In fact, I looked dreadful as I was so dark! But it’s the weight problem that bothers most girls and lots of my friends were starving themselves to look good. One of my friends had actually messed up her menstrual cycle in high school because she didn’t eat much at all. Let’s just say that they were putting their health at risk to be slimmer.
If this condition is not being identified and corrected, they might be suffering from anorexia nervosa. Eating disorder has a lot to do with the mentality. No matter how think these girls are, they will still think it’s not enough. But Avalon Centers offers partial hospitalization program for anyone with eating disorder to undergo their treatments there. It has to be treated because it can be life threatening if left unattended.
So, being thin is nice, but being healthy is wonderful.
