About Beggars
I was there at St Anne’s Church, trying to move my ways up to the stairs to do a prayer in the church and do you know what I saw? Lots and lots of beggars! That’s why when hubby asked if we should bring my kids there this year, I said no. I don’t want to leave the impression on my kids that their mummy is damn cruel and stingy and didn’t want to help the poor. Nor I want my kids to be scared by the children beggars who are quite pushy sometimes. Just read about 5xmom’s post about poverty, go to the comment and you will know what I mean.
Sometimes, it’s not that I don’t want to help, it’s that how to help? There are so many of them and you will just be wondering if you are there for a prayer or giving donation? At times like this, I wish that those richie rich can come out of thei castle and do them a good deal. But that will promote even more beggars. Gee…
