Maui
When I was knitting at the handicraft shop yesterday, one of the ladies told me that her 4 years old daughter came back from school and told her that she wanted to go to the beach.
Girl: Mama, I want to go to the beach.
Mama: Ok, one day we go. Which beach do you want to go?
Girl: Maui.
Mama: *speechless*
I found it funny too. Her kids study in international school, so all the children have richer parents who can afford all the luxuries. Don’t you think going to the beaches mean Port Dickson, ok? To these kids, it means Maui. Haha! So I joked to her that I have a lot of links about Maui vacation rentals and condos and if she wants some Hawaiian travel tips, I can provide her the websites too.
She looked at me and said, “You can’t be serious.” Then we all laughed. Frankly, it’s a nice place to go if you can afford it. Since her kid was asking for a beach trip, the whole family are having a beach vacation soon. Not to Maui yet, but to Pangkor Laut (one expensive resort!). See, I told you only rich kids study in International School.
